Fried my cpu-purchase replacement via credit card?

I just fried my cpu (don't ask).
I was wondering, since some of the credit cards come with purchase replacement protection (mine doesn't), has anyone ever had the price of a replacement cpu covered by their credit card company?

Sorry to hear tht. Wht happen ? Although u said don't ask, but we need to know. Maybe u can get a replacement from the vendor.
