Fried CPU?

I started another thread about this subject, and no one has answered it yet.......it was probably too long.............so

What is the easiest, most simple way to tell if a CPU has been fried?

Try it in a different mobo, then your possibly dead motherboard. Perhaps?

Like Generalen said. Try it in another board to see if it posts. That will tell you. If you have no access to another board, check to see if there are any cracks or burned marks on the CPU. Or you can send it to me and I will test it. But get to keep it if it's fried, yeah thats it. 😛
