I recently installed a cold-cathode kit (logisys) and it worked fine and then whent out. Upon disassembling the inverter I noticed all the solder points were connected (even the power input. I cleaned up the solder and the plugged it in to check the voltages. The voltage is fine at 12v until the transformer. After that, it's around 60vac (should be over 500vac).

It seems that the transformer is fried (burnt spot on bottom). Is there any equivalent I can get at radioshack to solder in, or do I have to buy a new inverter? I was considering this as a replacement:
