baloney, spam, and hotdogs i have in my fridge were all made w/different animals. (ie: combination of beef, pork, chicken, and/or turkey)

i decided to fry them.

surprisingly, i liked Fried baloney better than fried spam or the fried hotdog.

for the baloney and spam, i just threw a slice onto the pan.

for the hotdog, i split it in half b4 frying.

try it for yourself

I don't know. They're all so awesome. Baloney FTW. Make sure you cut a slit in it from the center out.

Fried pups. You have to poke little holes in them so the oil can get all that fatty goodness inside of the dog as well.

Spam, no contest. I finally treated myself to a Spam & cream cheese bagel a few days ago.
I almost tossed some of the remaining Spam onto the smoker after my ribs finished last night.

yup, this.

I get bologna sliced 1/4" thick for frying or BBQ'ing.

Baloney > Spam > Hot dogs.

With dogs I like em grilled better than fried. The best way to make fried bologna is to saute some onions in butter. After the onions are soft add the meat and fry until just starting to brown. Serve on a hard roll with salt and pepper. Yum.

For fried Spam slice it really thin and fry it up until it's crispy, then serve on a hard roll with spicy mustard.

The real beauty of Spam is the shelf life. This thread got me hungry, so I went looking for a can of Spam in the deep dark recesses of my pantry. Sure enough, there was a can there that I had bought at least 3 or 4 years ago and it still had a few more years to go before the "best by" date. Just got done frying it up, it's so good and enough left for another big sandwich tomorrow.
