Apparently had a "remix" with 3OH!3 or whomever, so I guess she is getting something. Fair warning, it's like injecting vomit into your ears... it's basically just very high-pitched autotune singing the same dumb thing while dressing slutty.

To be honest though, you can't survive as a music artist making some music videos on YouTube - even if they get 1M+ views. Quick google says they make roughly $3 - $5 per 1,000 video views. So if you get 1M views on a video, that's roughly $3-5k... Of course, you have the costs and time of making the videos with a record label. So if you can pump them out every couple months for a low cost, then maybe you would have something.

The only way to make it is to actually be able to draw a crowd and play live. Personally haven't seen her touring it up and selling out theaters, but maybe I'm wrong heh.

The week has sucked but so has much of Feb. Too many company and vendor changes. Google announced Drive would no longer be unlimited for Universities and that ruined a lot of people's week

Not quite how that worked. Universities pay a good chunk of money for Gmail, gsuite apps, drive and then got unlimited storage as part of the deal - some of those deals are well over a decade old. Just harsh timing with COVID after schools used Drive to deal with the sudden forced remote world. Not to mention many are more cash strapped than ever so can ill afford this change

I guess it's something, she has 1.5m YouTube subscribers and might get 1M views on a music video here or there.

Sadly, making music on YouTube just 'aint gonna cut it with those numbers. Looks like just someone ripping off a combo of Katy Perry music and a little bit of Lady gaga.
