I had an awful week, because I'm bad at my job.

I'm wiped out.... I plan on working offline Sat & Sun night after kids are asleep.

But for now, WHEEEEEEEEEEEEE
 
I had an awful week because other people are bad at their jobs. I don't plan to work this weekend, and I do plan to pick up a six pack of stout after work.
Thinking maybe Elysian Dragonstooth oatmeal stout.

As a Korean American, I want to escape from this typical 'facing racism in america while raising family' crap, but it looks so good.

Didn't eat much today, just had an imperial porter and feeling quite buzzed. About to get some fried FUCKING chicken.

Yeah, I'm inspired, on my way back from getting beer, I think I may also swing by Popeye's and Jack in the Box so I can finally do the spicy chicken sandwich face-off.
 
Stuck inside the house for several days because of all the snow/ice/sleet. Hopefully I will be able to drive around tomorrow.
 
Horrible week - I've spoke to all four of the Big 4 this week on various projects. Today was capped off by walking the GC through my BOD slides and why he should thank me for my chice of words and not question them. Mentally I feel like I've gone 8-rounds with Sun Tzu.

Stout, IPA's, and copious amounts of 100+ proof whiskey will get me through the night.

Anything having to do with the Big 4 causes anyone to drink.

Christ, theres no question that the Big 4 is unique in that it has some of the biggest fucking morons I've ever seen in my life - but I've also seen and met some damn good ones that are sharp as well.

Plenty of smart ones, its the inabiltiy for them to conclude on a damn thing that bothers me. Even the Partners have been castrated with having to consult the risk partner, the national office and their local psychic before rendering an approval. Everything is so drawn out these days and the amount of CYA checklists they must fill out. PCAOB fines have stripped them of their complex thought analysis. Totally unnecessary and the SEC needs to reign them in.

Yeah I guess we don't have to deal with that at least. Basically clients buy our software and hire B4 to implement it and configure it for them. Still, I deal with them on the side for when we are strategizing the sale.

But no seriously, there are some HUGE fucking morons buried in there. Incompetence is something I ran into plenty with them when I worked for them and still to this day.
 
My RAM showed up this afternoon. RAM is kind of anticlimactic as one plugs it in and it just works. I now have two million times as much RAM in this PC as in the Kaypro I started out on. It's probably no match for Chrome and Firefox.

Dealt with another Big4 this week on a software implementation - non-ERP related. Please provide a flow chart of all integrations (CRM, ERP, internally developed) and points of risk where C&A will be scrutinized - oh uhm, we thought your team would.....Shit my team will not be doing. Get ta work!

It was very visceral... I think most Asians or immigrants in US can relate to this esp if you have boomer parents.
