Friday Desktop Thread 3/21/03

W00T just realized it was now friday
so its time for THE REAL DESKTOP THREAD

there have been alot of impersinations this week :|

Here is my Desktop. its BIG Dual 19in CRT's @ 1600x1200. I Took The Pic On The Right

im running Coolmon for the Stats

Ultramon for the second taskbar. and nifty dual mon functions

Running Style XP with the Arysta skin from Theme Xp

and im useing YZDock for teh Dock. Only works for XP

since i dont remember the name on deviantart any longer, i upped it to my site as a png....

I have the same desktop with the CPU meter in the background, but i added new icons that I absolutely LOVE! I increased the size to 48x48 and though it looks big, I love the details they have. 🙂

Im gonna throttle mine up to 128x128 tonight. Get the big boys out 🙂

Haha, good luck. I tried 64x64 but most of the icons looked sh!tty. 48 was supported by default windows icons so I stuck with that. I dont see how your going to use 128 unless you plan to manually replace all the Icons? :Q

Nothing much. Inuyasha, GTO, sprited away japanese sub. I won't be adding anything till summer.

All of mine are already replaced. 🙂

ya, for some reason when you change it to 128x128 the start bar icons stay small (unless your not in classic start menu, but they are so huge that it cant display everything 😱)

Mine are pretty boring compared to those here. (Both reduced to 800x600.)

Current Win2K Desktop

Current Win2K Desktop w/ VNC (vncserver running off of Linux/Slackware box with latest wmaker and Mozilla)

actually i did that once and just pasted teh text into a file and copy it back in when i need it again. and make teh changes i need to. save a lot of typeing

ya, for some reason when you change it to 128x128 the start bar icons stay small (unless your not in classic start menu, but they are so huge that it cant display everything 😱)

You can fix that by going to Task bar and Start menu properties, start menu tab, start ment customize and choose small icons. 🙂
