I guess I can start it this week.

Here's Mine Smooth as ice!

I finally got rid of everything on my desktop and streamlined everything. I'm just starting with style xp and coolmon.

OK, now let's see 'em!!

Finally reinstalled Litestep this past week. Still in the stages of tweaking everything to get it working again though.

My desktop

Had to un-transperize a window to uh, cover something up. :eek:

how is litestep, is it easy to use and not take up too much memory????

here are mine:


using virtual desktop manager

normal one using: the uxtheme.dll hack, true launch bar and start killer (gets rid of the start bar)

woa where'd u get that prog where it displays all that info on ur desktop!! ...or did u just add that?

The most commonly one used is Coolmon I believe.

Oh man that's scary. My desktop probably looked very similar to that a number of years ago. :Q

Litestep isn't too bad if you're comfortable with text file based configuration, otherwise it can be somewhat intimidating and the learning curve is sometimes described as steep. The memory usage pretty much depends on how you have it configured. If you're running it packed full of features and modules it's going to use more memory than someone who goes the minimalistic route. On average for me it uses between 2 and 3MB.
