Amazing time lapse.

Not sure if this has been posted, but I don't feel like searching. Saw this on youtube today, and found the whole thing amazing. What amazed me was the different types of clouds seemingly going opposite of each other (which I never knew happened) to the mushroom-type cloud going high into the air and disappearing to the sun setting and being able to see the stars at the very end.

Thought somebody might enjoy this :).

EDIT: Another neat time lapse showing some cool footage of LAX at night.

The first one is nice but the second one is Repost. If you search, there is a 720P version out there.

There was a show on iNHD about time lapse. I think it was called "Chronos" and was an IMAX film from the 80's. It was extremely clear, 1080i, and looked fantastic.

It's all about the buildup. As 91TTZ mentioned, I saw these on iNHD and they blew my mind. Do your best to see them on the biggest HDTV you can find.

What the heck is up with the storm passing over, then forming/reforming the thunderhead shape? That was neat to see though, just the way it suddenly billowed up and flattened out, right around 20s.

Second video, around 1:26, looks like the Borg Sphere's ground attack in ST: First Contact.
