The Los Angeles Times (8/18) reports, "Some [Fresno] community leaders are asking the City Council to discipline one of its members who wrote an e-mail saying he wished he had a radioactive 'dirty bomb' to eliminate local liberals. The Human Relations Commission voted unanimously last week to ask the council to reprimand Jerry Duncan. Duncan e-mailed three staff members during a June 10 council hearing on the relations commission's budget: 'If I had one dirty bomb I could eliminate all the liberals in Fresno at once.'"
