Freshmen: When do you move into the dorms?

My move in date is a week from today, Thursday, August 18th.

I look forward to anything and everything 🙂 A lot of guys here on ATOT have said that college is a blast.

^---aww...show up earlier than that to berkeley man...welcome week is just parties...i mean if you're into that...i know most of my sophomore friends there are going back earlier than that...like the 22
 
Not a freshman, but i am helping out with freshman move in at my university. Move in starts August 24, wed. Classes start on the 29th, the following monday.

No, I'm lazy and welcome week is really boring, mostly freshman there anyways. All my sophomore friends are going late unless they have to move into their apartment early.

Besides, I already told my boss that my last day is the 24th. The extra cash :thumbsup: than sitting in my room doing nothing.

Um... only Berkeley starts on the 29th. The rest of the UCs are on quarter system and start in September.

The quarter system sucks for going back home to see old friends.

Yep, I get out at the end of May and I go back to see friends still in HS graduate. Plus I get a headstart on jobhunting for the summer 🙂.

We were on semesters and finals were always the first week of May. Every summer I was in college and working, I was on the job by the end of may 😀

 
Already back in my house...i look forward to seeing the roving bands of 50+ freshmen running around to house parties.
