I probably should have just waited for SSD prices to come down, but I pulled the trigger on that stupidly cheap $40 1TB Seagate SATA drive. Now I have that and the WD 250GB SATA that I currently have an XP install on.
Upgrading to win7 this week. I do some light gaming (SC2) on the machine, and some use as a HTPC.
Which drive should I make the boot drive? Are the seek times much slower on those large capcity drives? Will it have any meaningful effect on gaming, etc?
