Fresh install, update 29 hangs, Win7 64

I decided to refresh my one rig. Reformatted the SSD from computer management, put SSD back in rig, went ahead and installed Win 7 - install went fine, started installing updates immediately and one of the updates stalled out.. hard powered off and rebooted and everything went fine but now I have a whole list of 'Failed' updates in update history

Think there are any problems with my system? 😕

This seems to be a somewhat common issue with Windows 7. Microsoft offers their Fixit utility which will diagnose and automatically fix this problem. If you prefer to do the repair manually, expand the "Let me fix it myself" section and click on the "view or hide detailed information" link for step by step instructions:

99.9% of the windows updates installed this time around. I think there were a few that didn't.
