My motherboard should be at my house today so I should have my computer up and running tonight, what are some necessities after I finish the windows/driver installs?

so far I have:

as you can see my list is kinda small so i'm looking to compile a good sized list of programs that I should install..if you recommend a better program for one of these feel free to let me know.

Actually, you should install ffdshow, dsp2dshow, mplayerc, RealAlternative, and QuicktimeAlternative. That'll play anything you can think of.

Also, Daemon Tools, WinAce (opens some things WinRAR won't), Cygwin, AdAware, NAV or AVG, CrazyBrowser or Firefox.

I know it's a change and a debate... but at the last install I did, I removed all IE shortcuts and replaced them with Firebird (Firefox). You would be amazed at how much it cuts down (eliminates) spyware and pop-ups.
