Fresh Direct- anyone use it?

I'm thinking about placing my first order tomorrow. Do they give you an apx delivery time or do you have to wait around all day? It's a little pricey but they have some items that I can't get locally.

Thanks for any info

they give you like 2 hour window or something.

It was great when I used them, i used them a few times, the food was usually very fresh, and i didn't experience any problems with them

I've ordered fairly regularly for nearly a year. It's a little hard to eat $40 of groceries in a week if you don't pack lunch. The food is very fresh, and I was able to get a no-questions-asked refund on a spoiled carton of soy milk.

They give you a 2-hr window (I order 2 days before delivery, and some slots are full), but they've been up to an hour off on either side, around 3-4 times total.

Using it for a bout a year. Same story as Flatscan, including FD being good about their occasional screw-ups (e.g. rotten red bell pepper or late delivery). They've only been late once.

That's crazy... Never thought I'd see the day when groceries were being delivered.

That was common years ago. Problem is that the delivery boy expected a dime tip.

Same here, but they are very expensive compared to my local grocer stores 🙁
