Frequent Travellers.. what ISP do you use when you're away? Free ISPS?

Hey guys,

I'm in a precarious situation, currently I'm at my families place in hawaii and I'm using my ISPs dialup service. However, it's fairly limited in time (5 hours) and it will expire quickly. (For those of you wondering what I'm doing using the internet in hawai... I'm using this for mostly late night browsing because I'm still thinkin in another time zone). Anyways, what ISP do you use? Are there any free ISPS that still exist? And yes I do know that companies with free trials exist but I'm not anxious to sign up for AOL, mostly since my parents don't want me signing up for an isp on the internet with their CCs.

Advice is appreciated. Thanks.

I get free Verizon Wireless Express Network...144kbps goodness right to my laptop from my phone. Of course it is not the fastest, but it is sure better than nothing.

You're best bet is to switch your home dsl or cable modem to Earthlink. For us we still get our bill from Time Warner and it's still their cable modem. Just now it's a little cheaper and we get unlimited Earthlink Dialup. 🙂

On the other hand now that I have a vision enabled Sprint phone it's just been easier to plug into the cell phone.
