Frequent freezing

Well this happens whether my comp is just sitting doing nothing or when im playing long games of Diablo2. This freezing is like 1 second long, i mean its very annoying when your DVD freezes for a second in a intense action scene.

This all happened when i switched my mobo to a BIOSTAR m7vkd from a MSI K7T Pro2-a ( I know its stupid but i fried the mobo and had little money to spend ). My det drivers are 23.11 and my refresh rate is set at 100mhz.

It would seem that you are over driving your video card/monitor combo. Try dropping the refresh rate to 85 and see if it improves.
