Frequency of Dell Deals?

Sorry if this is slightly OT, but I'm in the market for an Inspiron notebook, and Dell.ca currently has 2 deals. One is a free upgrade to an 8X DVD/CD Burner combo and the other is a free leather carrying case. I don't really have much need for either of these, and both of them end today.

I know Dell always has online deals, but was wondering on the frequency of these deals. If I hold off on purchasing it today, within a week's time will they have other deals in effect already?

TIA!

I think that Dell has a price matching policy if the price you paid is higher call them up and they will give you the difference back.

Yes, they let you pricematch for the 30 days after your purchase. However, the problem is because their deals tend to change depending on what type of hardware/accessory they're bundling with the computers, it's sometimes hard to argue the price unless there was a drastic drop in the price of the processor or something like that. They'll tell you "it's cheaper but you got a free leather case which retails for <insert excessive amount here>". Their deals tend to end on Wednesdays and a new one starts on Thursday. The deals used to run weeklong, but recently I've noticed them adding in or changing their specials halfway through, so keep your eyes open. Basically, I'd just wait until their special deal matches what you need/want before jumping in. Hope this helps.

Yeah, Dell.com always get the best deals - I have to settle with a lot less on Dell.ca :(
