French Government Bans Term 'E-Mail'

Freedom/French fries are dutch in origin not french. I doubt they'd lose sleep over something they never invented just like I won't lose sleep over them not using the term e-mail in their goverment offices.
 
Socialism at it's finest. Their Culture Ministry is a haven for Elitist Poo-Poo Nanny State Collectivist Phreaks.
 
I'll say the same thing I said in this other thread. They've been doing that for a long time and they'll continue to do it in the future. And guess what, its a very good idea.

Of course, I expect 90% of you to simply express your unending hate for the French and call them names and such...but if anyone is interested in seeing their point of view, I'd be happy to provide a relevant anecdote that will convince you that its a good idea.
