Freind of mine just got a Gefroce 256 for his system and,

He doesn't see any improvement in he's 3dmark score or frams per seconds in UT from his TNT2.

Even though I have no experence with K6-2's I'm guess that it's the bottle neck. Here are his specs,

Amd-k6-2 450mhz
Asus P5-A motherboard lasteest bois with a L1 cache of 64kb
128 megs 100mhz ram
Asus V6600 dlx agp
Ess Allegro 2000 sound card pci
U.S. Robotics 56k INT PnP voice/Fax isa
Realtek lan ethernet card isa


Is the CPU holding the video card back?
