Freezing while surfing

I get weird freezes every 2-3 min while surfing both with Netscape and IE
I have DSL and have applied almost every patch.

Any new ideas>>
This AM I cleared my 60day history from Netscape and it appears to help.

I had that same problem once,and it was my Vid card drivers.
i had a Banshee card using Diamonds Drivers,but updated to Voodoo drivers and the ptoblem went away.
if not that,maybe try your NIC drivers.

I have the newest Video drivers and the only set of driver for my Linksys card.
But whats strange is I can do anything else use explorer (not IE) AIM ICQ etc but not Netscape or IE I get freezes and I hear the hd churning for over 20 seconds.
