Freezer 7 Pro + Speed Fan incorrect

I have a gigabyte g31M-es2l, e5200 overclocked to 3.4 @ 1.3v

When I go into speed fan it shows that the fan is running at the slowest speed of 915 rpms but it is at 100 percent. How can I fix this to run the fan at a higher speed so that I can overclock higher. This fan is capable of running at either 2000 rpms or 2500 rpms. Thanks

That will ensure your fan is getting full 12v power and will bypass any speed controls.

The fan plug is already a 4 pin. I don't want to run the fan at full speed but want to be able to control it so that it is running faster than the lowest speed.

Why do you want it to run faster? The motherboard will kick the fanspeed up should it need it, no?

I ran prime95 on it for about 15 minutes and it did kick the fan speed up to around 1800 rpms at around 58-60C so it is working just wanting to run fan speed a little higher and try for higher overclock.

Disable "CPU Smart Fan" in BIOS. Then the CPU fan should run full-speed all of the time.

if you want a higher overclock, you should run your fan at full speed for the best cooling I would think.
