Freeze-Ups trying to delete an item, right click, drag etc

my computer becomes unresponsive when i try to delete, right click, or drag items

any ideas? much appreciated.

Does the problem happen when you boot to Safe Mode w/ Networking? If not please visit the link in my sig and scan for malware while you're in Safe Mode.
