Freeze on WinXP Pro 32Bit Install after first reboot

System Specs:
Asus M2N4-SLI
Amd Athlon 64 x2 4200
Leadtek 7900gt
WD 250gb HD
Mushkin 2gb (2x 1gb) DDR2 800
Lite-On Dvd+-RW, DVD-RAM
Antec 550W TPII PS

When I try to install windows, the initial blue screens finish up and when the computer reboots off the hard drive, the computer freezes on the loading windows xp Pro screen with the blue bar still going

I've tried installing xp pro 64bit and don't have any issues, so i'm not sure what the problem is

I have the exact same problem right now, I can't seem to figure it out either, it leaves me clueless. The strange thing is that our setups are completely different.

EDIT: What version of windows did you use? SP2?
