hey guys,

any help would be appreciated since i'm fresh out of ideas for now.

lately i've been getting freezes in winXP. we're talking no blue screen, no messages. just hard crashes with no warning. and when i play audio/video, the sound will loop once the system freezes. however, there isn't really anything particular activity i can pinpoint that causes this.

so far, i've swapped out the motherboard, CPU, and sound card to no avail. i've recently changed my PCI-based controller to a promise Ultra133 TX2 from an Ultra100 TX2, and i haven't tried to swap that out yet.

here is my system config:
radeon 32MB AIW
Promise Ultra133 TX2 (most recent change)
Hercules Fortissimo II soundcard
firewire PCI card
usb2 PCI card

what could actually cause a freeze like this?! to make matter worse, it doesn't register in the event viewer. so i'm fresh out of ideas :( help me out guys!

Edit: i've installed SP1 along with all critical updates

IRQ list [fixed

wouldn't an IRQ conflict like that at least bring up a blue screen though?

and sorry about the chinese, hopefully there's enough english on there hehe...
