My computer is freezing @ the same place each time I reboot/try again. It is after the inital reboot for installation and it has a bar which shows the progress of the hardware detection. It always dies @ the same place each time. Here is my system stats

AMD Thunderbird 1.2ghz (not overclocked yet)
IWILL KA266-R motherboard
Adaptec 2940u2b scsi card
50gb seagate scsi2 ultra LVD drive
soundblaster live value
3com NIC

Any suggestions would be appreciated

You have to hit F-6 and load the RAID drivers and any SCSI drivers if you have not (as mentioned). You also might be better off without everything attached when you load the OS. Just try the basics and add each device after it is installed. Everything should work fine since I have a similar setup in my wifes system, minus the SCSI drive and card. That might be your ah heck.

Defininely use the via 4.29's and Service Pack 1
