I need to turn my Mp3s into WMA files. Looking for freeware. Any suggestions?

You can get a Windows Media Encoder from Microsoft directly. It's freeware, but command line.

Please don't encode MP3s into WMAs.......

Consider using Ogg Vorbis -- in most cases, it makes music files MUCH smaller than WMAs but the quality is better than WMAs!

do it with winamp.

1- turn off your equalizer
2- hit ctrl+p
3- under output double click the wma output plugin and configure it
4- hit play in winamp and they will be converted


Don't forget to change back to the waveOut once your finished
