Freeware VPN Client

I need a freeware VPN Client for Windows that has support for PPTP. I cannot use the built in client. Does anyone know of a standalone program that has this support? If there are only pay programs, I will settle and purchase one. Any help is appreciated.

I don't know of any offhand...maybe you could describe your problem and there might be another way of solving it?

In Windows XP, you require admin rights to set up a VPN. Some of our users, I do not want to give admin rights, or have to set up every machine myself. I figured if I could find some sort of VPN client, It would be much easier to implement.

Why not just setup the connection for them?

Because many of them are students, and I don't have there home IP's handy. They want to be able to retrieve work from home without the need for CD's. But we don't want to give them full access to the Windows VPN Client, and allow them to connect to wherever. We want to use a standalone client that can be configured so they can't fiddle with every little setting.
