Freeware home web servers

What would you recommend for small scale home web hosting?
(Assume any standard windows machine.)

Particularly if it involves "limited circulation" type documents you don't want to host on third party servers? Apache/IIS is difficult because most people are not programmers... BUT there are some small apps available like Barracuda, Purplenova, HFS ... what would you pick? what else?

TinyWeb

I used to use that years ago when it was even smaller and had fewer features. IIRC it is very easy to set up and use. You just make sure port 80 is not blocked by a firewall, make a directory and fill it with your stuff, then run the program (set to run on startup too).
