What is a good Freeware DVD Player? I just rented Team America and WMP won't let me play it due to copyright protection...

Wha...it won't let you play it due to copyright protection? Huh?

Do you have a DVD decoder installed?

No kidding, I got several copies of PowerDVD still in their OEM paper sleeves from all my DVD drive purchases.

Yeah, that doesn't sound right.

You CAN play other DVDs, right?

If not (only thing I can think that makes sense), you probably just don't have a DVD decoder installed. Anandtech did testing and found that nVidia's DVD Decoder was pretty much the best out there - but it's only free for 30 days, then you need to buy it.

VLC ain't bad. Minimalist interface, but workable.
