Freeware 'Application as a Service' software available?

Just looking to see if i can run a particular application as a service - so that I can utilize it without having someone logged in. Also, users tend to close the window on me, so I can't use the program anymore, either......

Did a number of netsearches, and only came up with this shareware software.......I may just wind up buying that....but thought I'd at least check... 🙂

If you can find FireDaemon Lite somewhere, that should work (used to be free, but the authors don't host that evrsion anymore).

but ,as I said was looking to see if, perchance, freeware existed.

And as to this being the "wrong forum", I made a subjective decision that most others would not be interested, which is perhaps wrong.....so I figured I'd just stick it here in OT versus anything else......

I consider OT a 'catch-all' for most everything that may not specifically fit......but I suppose I could have put it in software......

but I'll consider myself warned by the 'wrong forum' Nazis.........🙂

 
get the writer of the original app to include running it as a service natively. i don't know why anyone doesn't do this automatically when they write an app these days
