Hi all,

Does any1 know if your connection gets cut after a certain amount of time if the computer is idling? (Not sending or receiving data)

I know BB is always on, but you still have to log on.

If the connection is dropped, is there anyway to disable this?

Thanks in advance

Mark.

If you have a broadband connection the connection should never drop. See here.

So that all of our members can receive a high quality service, Freeserve AnyTime and HomeTime members are disconnected after 2 hours of continual usage, or 20 minutes idle time - although you can reconnect straight afterwards.
These disconnection settings are not applicable to Freeserve Broadband or Freeserve No Ties pay as you go.

Sounds like hardware problem..what modem/router do you use?
