Freesco--Is it hackable?

Just wondering:

I've got a freesco dial-up router, and no ports are open. I've got a pretty strong password as well.
GRC.Com (Shields up) lists no ports open, and I think telnet is only open to FREESCO from the internal adapter.
I've also disabled the web server
Any other way for a malicious hacker to get in?
I'm about to set this up for my wife's office, & I've looked on the Usenet, and Google, and haven't found anything yet.

THey're on a dial up connection for now, but will be upgrading to a DSL in the next year probably, which is why I thought freesco would be good.

Thanks for any input?

ANYTHING is hackable if someone is determined enough to get into it.

That said, a properly configured freesco box will do an adequate job of keeping basement script kiddies from tanking you.

Anything that is connected to a network can be hacked.

Although running FREESCO, properly locked down, reduces your risk immensely.
Closing all unused ports is good practice.

I shy away from telnet or FTP, in favor of SSH.

Just having a firewall is a huge step in the right direction.

On a sidenote, we just setup Smoothwall on our internal network. It has a lot
of support and is very easy to configure. The down side is that it requires a
harddrive.

Also if you really want to lock it down then download paranoid firewall package for it. I have not used this myself but I know someone that has. It will make your ports show up as stealth at GRC (if that is important to you). Check it out and other packages at Freescosoft. Also the forums are hosted there untill the freesco forums are fixed.
