freeRADIUS

I posted a similar thread in networking recently, but im a work study student at a community college under the campus network admin. he wants to go from using a generic, well known login for the campus wireless to using the LDAP database we have with novel eDirectory.

i've got a little linux experience, but in looking around and configuring freeRADIUS with ldap it looks like i'll be getting in over my head if i just jump in without doing some more research first.

what are the basics i need to know about implementing this and where should i look to get started and have some good background information?

yeah i found that (as well a a couple older versions, just in case, since we run an old netware version to start with), and some other documentation that I was able to dig up eventually so i *think* im heading in the right direction so far. I dont have access to any of the novell stuff so Im waiting on my boss to do get me info and prep the user accounts.
