Freelancer Sequel?

If you've played Freelancer (a PC game), I'm sure you rated it a 10/10 -- I know I did!

Has ANYONE heard of a sequel to it? Rumours? Whatever?

See the MS games website if you want a basic overview of it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO ANY GAMER.

Freelancer was lots of fun for a while in multiplayer. But once you get the best ship and weapons it's pretty monotonous. I never did bother completing single player. 😱

Yeah, I guess that's kinda true. The mods hold you over somewhat, but that gets old as well.

Anyone else?

I really liked the single player mode and couldn't stop playing until I beat it. Once that was over, I quickly got bored with the game.

Freelancer single player rocked...then multiplayer turned out to be a real pain in the butt, so I got bored pretty fast.

I played the heck out of the single player last semester, but once I got the best ship and weapons, it got old quick. I thought it was kind of short, too. Good game, though. I'd definitely be interested in a sequel to it.
