Freelancer: How to mount equipment to your ship

For anyone who plays freelancer, how do you mount equipment to your ship that's sitting around in your cargo? I'm trying to mount the shield from my old ship onto my new ship but I can't figure out how.

first you must be landed

then you unmount the old equipment by going to the eqipment type page and click that little icon on the corner of the equipment icon, then mount the new thing by clicking that same icon on the new eqiupment

Ah, that's how it's done, I would just sell then buy it back.

OOohh, yeah, I used to always sell then buy back but I figured there must be a way I could do it without spending money! =D thanks

Don't forget to always use the tractor beam after fights. Can find nanobots, shield batteries, and other weapons (most of which just get sold off). Whatever you can find can help you.
