I added a PCI video card to a 430TX chipset to replace the onboard video and I get a code 12 in DM stating to free up resourses.
I removed the NIC, modem and audio card along with disabling the serial port in the bios and disabling the onboard video in DM, but with this Jaton Trident 9685 it still needs more resourses!

Using safe mode to install/uninstall the video, would that help? I'm running 2k

It sounds like you have a IRQ, DMA, or I/O resource conflict. With how any of those work, you could remove EVERTHING except what is conflicting and still have problems.
DM would mean what? (sorry I might not be all there right now)
Safe mode won't care about IRQ problems, so yes you might be able to fix it here.

Try This:
open system properties (right-click, properties on "my computer")
go to the Device Manager tab
check for conflicts
if not go properties on Computer

DM= Device Manager

This is 2k, so IRQ's should not be a problem. The video was sharing with the audio, but remember I removed everything and it still barks!

There were no IRQ conflicts.

No on safe mode yet. That's whaI wanted to try. Should I remove the device in safe mode they reboot? I can't remove/disable the onboard video since there is no bios feature for that. No there isn't a bios update!

Man..........did you read my last post?????????????

How can onboard video be AGP if it is onboard? Can't be a port if is on board! Besides I beleive 430TX chipsets didn't have AGP!

Accually I believe onboard video uses an AGP bus on the mobo even if you don't have a slot, so technically...
