These forums have been so boring lately, hardly any interesting threads. Anyways.

<< Man arrested after using four-letter word to describe overcooked McDonald's chicken. >>

Do you think that he had the right to say that McDonalds chicken nuggets tasted like shít or was he offending the "resturant" and the people there?

If it tastes like sh*t, it probably is. So he had every right to say that. He paid for a "high-quality" product, and he got crappy nuggets. LOL!

:D

He was right for doing what he did. ;)

Ok, just read what I wrote and I don't make sense.

LOL!

:D

It's late, I've had too little sleep and I'm on here with a broken finger nail on my thumb. :(

If you believe his version, he was not treated fairly. If you believe the deputy and the cashier, it was appropriate. Just saying the word "sh!t" one time doesn't warrant being arrested, but if he was getting loud, wouldn't quiet down, and used the word over and over, he deserved what happened.

Whoa, some sensitive people there... If someone tells them that the food they serve tastes like s---, that person is probably not kidding.

And it's a nice example of wasting manpower plus space in jails. Arresting people for an attempt to swear in public... sheesh.. :p

I wouldn't believe the guy's version. The report from the deputy sounds more like what would've resulted in his arrest.

Probably, McDonalds has the place moderated for little kids. Any other place would be fine. He should have got kicked out and given some warning and not to use that comment in front of children.

But if there was no children in the store at the time, then this is ridiculous.

I don't really feel like reading the article, but i will say this: obsenity is not protected by the first amendment, so his rights were not infringed upon, atleast in that respect.

I think the guy was a wee bit out of line. Though I can undestand why he'd be upset, he shouldn't use that sort of language when there could be young childern around. Not only that, it wasn't the cashier's fault his nuggets were burned. If he'd simply asked for some new ones, he'd probably have gotten his way. Instead, he was rude and nasty, demanding that he get his way.

His <<"I didn't curse at her. I cursed at the nuggets.">> just doesn't wash.
