I'm thinking about buying it but I'm not sure yet.

Anyone have it?

Is it worth getting?

Gamespot (and 500+ Gamespot readers) rated it 9.0 / excellent, computer gaming world said it's a candidate for game of the year.

I need to finish up Fallout Tactics (fun but not as good as Jagged Alliance 2) before I get FForce, but's it's on my "must buy" list.

I recomend Freedom Force if you like superheros and comics. Its also important you understand the type of game it is. The strategy/rpg style, It is kind of like fallout tactics in its game style. You get to biuld up your super heroes and upgrade super heroes. Each level is a map with certain objectives you must complete. You get points for completeing the objectives and not hurting civilians....with these points you can recruit new heroes and upgrade powers. Objectives can range from eliminating a certain badguy to clearing a map of raptors sneaking in through a mysterious portal.

The game is fun stylish and colorful.....but if you think the oldschool superhero comics are chessy...you proly wont like it.

Thanks for the replies guys. I went ahead and got it last night. It's addicting! I think I'm going to download a trainer though. I think it's a little unfair that women can lift big trucks while charcters such as Robo-Man can only pick up smaller things like boxes. I imagine that with time I can assign CP points to increase the powers of my characters but why wait.

Can you upgrade attribues (strength, endurance) with CP points? How do you increase the amout of damage people can take? El Diablo is pretty strong offensively, but he gets knocked around quite a bit.

I've seen the skins for Marvel and DC characters; are there any templates you can download where they have used the system to create copies? I have sort of made a Spider-Man clone using traits and powers like Jumper, Bubble Gum, Schoolyard Taunt, and Wall Climber, but it still doesn't seem quite boss enough. :p

I'm kinda disheartened because one of my sticks of memory is bad (Windows kept crashing with it in there) and the game runs slower than dirt with 256MB. :p
