freedom force crashes to desktop

when i start it up, it goes to a black screen, then crashes to desktop and i get windows error message asking me weather i want to send it to microsoft. my machine is the gaming rig in my sig and definitely meets the minimum requirements to run it. i am using 55.xx drivers cause medieval total war wont run an drivers any higher than that. any help would be appreciated! thanks.
 
The developers released an SP2 patch recently, as this was one of many titles that failed to function properly after that service pack was released. I don't have the specific link, but a search should connect you to one. HTH
