Freedom Fighters Windows 7?

Hey all,

So I'm trying to run Freedom Fighters on Windows 7 x64. It looks great (cranked the AA and AF.. edge detect etc) but it's running too quickly! By that I mean that everything moves super fast. I've tried running it in different compatibility modes and running it on a single core.

Does anyone know of anything else to try, or perhaps has first hand experience with getting the game to run normally on 7?

That sounds like your usual core affinity problem, I might try to install mine on windows 7 just to see what happens, I am at work though so you will have to wait.

Are you running it in Win 7 (no compatibility) or did you run it in Win XP compatibility mode?

I'm curious ... I'll have to install it on my laptop w/Win 7 and get back to you.

I've tried several compatibility modes... Windows XP, 2000, and 98/ME. None seem to do it. I've also tried setting my affinity to a single core. No dice 🙁

If you have a way of testing it on yours just to see that would be, dare i say, a Christmas miracle? (I really would love to play this fine game once again).

Try forcing vsync in the drivers? That sometimes fixes games with the hyper speed issue. Actually I have the game too. Will try it out on Win7 x64.

EDIT: No problems to report. Game ran correctly without issue (vsync off). The mouse sensitivity was really high, but can be lowered in options. The ragdoll of soldiers dying or flying through the air sometimes seems unrealistically fast, but that's probably just the game.
