The OBL of this world are allowing all this to unfold before they undertake a massive assault on the US. Why? What 'race' or ethnicity are you? The US is a lot better than most other countries with regards to race, IMO. I haven't had a problem here and wouldn't like being treated like a second class citizen in other countries. The UK would treat me like crap, I've been basically spit on by some Europeans (especially from the Netherlands). I think the only countries I would be fine in would be the US, Canada and that's basically it unless you want to be treated like crap. Sure, there are problems in the US, but that's definitely not exclusive to the US.

I don't know who is beholden to whom. I suppose they are all beholden in some fashion to the money that propels their efforts.. but, Quid pro quo and beholden in some fashion are major differences. In this arena money talks to the people.. we love rich folks.. they are our Royalty... When our Hollywood folks do their thing we are always told how much $ they made.. they are the Prince and Princess.. the Politicians are the Royal cousins.. Earls and Barons... the Rich Rich folks are the Puppet Masters ... leading the Worlds Puppets by a string... cut the string and the puppet tumbles into oblivion. With out money you can't buy loyalty.. or enough to make a difference... With out the promise of money you cannot get elected.
