FreeCreditReport.com vs. Experian.com

If you look at Experian.com and FreeCreditReport.com, you'll notice FreeCreditReport offers a very low basic cost for your report (all 3 credit agencies) vs. Experian's (pay more for all 3 credit agencies).

does this make any sense at all? Or am i missing somethign?

You should be entitled to 1 free report from each company per year.

Don't pay for anything. Only take the free one. Get one every 4 months, just change which company you get it from.

Yep. You can get your report for free, but usually you have to pay ($5 or so) to see your score.
