FreeBSD, which file system?

I need to format the disk, but i do not know which file system.
I just want to see what the os is like. I will probably erase it afterwards.
Besides, i think that is too much for my system. Linux Mint was too much for it, i was moving in a slow enviroment. (I finally got running Ubuntu).

Then just go with the default which is probably still UFS. ZFS is available, but I don't know what curve balls that might throw you.

And if you mean that you want to see what the GUI looks like, it'll look just like Linux because it runs the same software in Xorg, Gnome/KDE/XFCE, etc.
