FreeBSD Gvinum

ive used mdadm on linux for a while and besides a few hiccups that might have been hardware related, it's been fine... but then again ive never experienced a major drive failure on box at home. i was playing aroudn with vinum on FreeBSD 6.1-Release and was wondering how it compared in terms of maturity and stability with mdadm/raidtools. i know, this is highly opinion and individual experience based, but any opinions would be great. things like how easy it is to use, how robust, and generally how wel it does its most basic job - fault tolerance.

many thanks
