FreeBSD 5.0 - SMP / Dual-CPU support?

Does FreeBSD 5.0 RELEASE support SMP / Dual Processors?

Do I need to enable it?

How do I enable it?

If I do a clean install, will it already be enabled?

Yes, FreeBSD support SMP.

I had to in 4.x, so it sounds reasonable to assume you'll have to in 5.x as well.

Last time I installed FreeBSD on an SMP box, it just installed GENERIC, without SMP support, so I had to recompile it, don't know if that's changed in 5.x
