I love FreeBSD for a Server but I feel that Linux is better for a desktop

FreeBSD is kinda mixed like/hate for me.

For one thing, I like the system itself, clean and good performance.
But I just hate that they do a crapload of little odd things, such as "adduser" instead of a good ole useradd, linking /home to /usr/home, etc.

Nope, at least not last time I used it.

Nope, at least not last time I used it.

I think adduser used to be a script to make useradd easier. FreeBSDers were taking away a bunch of the scripts and replacing them with C programs. Maybe they got rid of useradd...

5.1 is the new technology release, while its pretty stable, its not recommened to be used for critical applications (as bbwf's link points out which i didn't notice was there a minute ago hehe)
