Yes, this is a repost - seems worth it.
Xerox is offering a color printer free of charge if you print between 2000-4000 pages per month routinely, and are willing to purchase supplies from freecolorpinters.com. I only briefly compared the costs of supplies, and they seem to be roughly the same from freecolorprinters.com as the rest of the market (I searched Pricegrabber.com for 'colorstix AND phaser'). Looks roughly like supplies for 2000 pages/month would cost about $200/month (not including paper) if all pages were done in color at 5% coverage.
If you drop below the amount that you say you will print, then they charge you (rental) for that month ($75). They require you to mail in a monthly usage report, else they charge you $100. That seems to be all of the catches. At the end of 3 years, its yours to keep and do with as
you please.
Your organization has to apply, and they decide if you get one.
A $3,700 laser - Hmmmm.
