Ok I saw in the bestbuy ad Look here, That you can get a free xbox with a 2 yr. Contract of MSN Dial up.
Well my road runner service has been really crappy and i have been thinking about changing and i might as well get a free xbox during the deal :p.

Do you think it would be possible for me to get the free xbox signing up for the msn broadband? (msn broadband cant be no worse than my roadrunner, it goes down 2 x a day because of a bad patch line or something and they want come fix it.)

Who do i need to call MSN or BestBuy?? Does anyknow the answer without me calling them?

Thanks,
Josh

you can call and find out. but i don't think their broadband is as much a ripoff as their dial up, so they might not have the margins and can't subsidize the xbox as much.

EDIT: that might be through best buy so it might be tricky... thats one of those "MSN shopping spree" things, isn't it?

From what I know, is if you get MSN, and you want to cancel it within the 2 year subscription, you will have to pay 80% (i think) of the remaning fees. so if you cancelled after 1 year (12 months) you will have to pay 80% of the rest of the term to cancel it. I'm not sure if you can go broadband or not, I don't think you can though. I work at staples, and thats what my manager told me when we rolled out the new MSN promotion.

*EDIT* and I believe the monthly fee of MSN is 21.95/month.

k, i just wanted to let you know about that, im sure it goes for all retail stores about quitting the service early. I didn't want you to go down the road and end up not wanting it, and then being charged whatever the amount is going to be. but good luck with it.
