FREE WMA editors/converters?

i'm trying to edit a few wma files since the recorder i use only handles that..and then i want to convert it to mp3..i don't want to sacrifice any quality though, so are there any free programs out there that'll do it for me?

theres no way to go from lossy compression method to lossy compression method without losing quality.
